Chapter on Good Care for Animals
Man Lā Yaḥḍuruh al-Faqīh|Volume 2|Book 3|Chapter 29
رُوِيَ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ رَحْمَةُ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ أَنَّهُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ صَلَّى اَللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ يَقُولُ: «إِنَّ اَلدَّابَّةَ تَقُولُ: اَللَّهُمَّ اُرْزُقْنِي مَلِيكَ صِدْقٍ يُشْبِعُنِي وَ يَسْقِينِي وَ لاَ يُحَمِّلُنِي مَا لاَ أُطِيقُ ».
It is narrated from Abu Dharr (may Allah سبحانه وتعالى have mercy on him) that he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah سبحانه وتعالى (peace of Allah سبحانه وتعالى be upon him and his family) say: "The animal prays: 'O Allah سبحانه وتعالى, grant me an owner of sincerity who feeds me, gives me drink, and does not burden me with more than I can bear.'"
