Abu Ayyub Ibrahim bin Uthman Al-Khazzaz asked Abu Abdullah عليه السلام: "Which type of Hajj is the best?" He replied: "Tamattu'. And how can anything be better than it when the Messenger of Allah سبحانه وتعالى (peace be upon him and his family) said, 'If I had known beforehand what I came to know later, I would have done as the people have done.'"
