Chapter on What is Permissible and Impermissible for the Muhrim to Do and Use of All Types
Zurara narrated from Abu Ja'far عليه السلام, who said: "Whoever intentionally eats saffron or food containing fragrance while in Ihram must offer a blood sacrifice (dam). However, if he does so out of forgetfulness, there is nothing upon him, but he should seek forgiveness from Allah سبحانه وتعالى and repent to Him."
