Chapter on the Inheritance of Grandfathers and Grandmothers
وَ رَوَى اِبْنُ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ أَخٍ لِأَبٍ وَ جَدٍّ قَالَ "اَلْمَالُ بَيْنَهُمَا سَوَاءٌ".
Ibn Mahbub narrated from Abdullah ibn Sinan from Abu Abdullah عليه السلام who said: I asked Imam عليه السلام about a paternal brother and a grandfather (in matters of inheritance). Imam عليه السلام replied: "The inheritance is divided equally between them."
