Chapter on the Inheritance of Grandfathers and Grandmothers
وَ رَوَى اَلْبَزَنْطِيُّ عَنِ اَلْمُثَنَّى عَنِ اَلْحَسَنِ اَلصَّيْقَلِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ قَالَ: قُلْتُ لَهُ اِبْنُ أَخٍ وَ جَدٌّ قَالَ "اَلْمَالُ بَيْنَهُمَا نِصْفَانِ".
Al-Bazanti narrated from Al-Muthanna from Al-Hasan Al-Ṣayqal from Abu Abdullah عليه السلام who said: I asked Imam عليه السلام about a paternal nephew and a grandfather (regarding inheritance). Imam عليه السلام said: "The inheritance is divided equally between them, half and half."
