Among the Concise Words of the Messenger of Allah (Peace Be Upon Him)
وَ قَالَ اَلصَّادِقُ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ: "اَلنَّوْمُ رَاحَةٌ لِلْجَسَدِ وَ اَلنُّطْقُ رَاحَةٌ لِلرُّوحِ وَ اَلسُّكُوتُ رَاحَةٌ لِلْعَقْلِ".
Abu Abdullah Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq عليه السلام, peace be upon him, said: "Sleep is rest for the body, speech is rest for the soul, and silence is rest for the mind."
