Among the Concise Words of the Messenger of Allah (Peace Be Upon Him)
قَالَ اَلْمُفَضَّلُ وَ سَمِعْتُ اَلصَّادِقَ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ يَقُولُ: "بَلِيَّةُ اَلنَّاسِ عَلَيْنَا عَظِيمَةٌ إِنْ دَعَوْنَاهُمْ لَمْ يُجِيبُونَا وَ إِنْ تَرَكْنَاهُمْ لَمْ يَهْتَدُوا بِغَيْرِنَا".
Al-Mufaddal said: I heard Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq عليه السلام, say: "The trial of the people concerning us is severe. If we call them, they do not respond to us, and if we leave them, they will not find guidance without us."
