Among the Concise Words of the Messenger of Allah (Peace Be Upon Him)
وَ فِي رِوَايَةِ اَلسَّكُونِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ عَلِيٌّ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ: "مَا مِنْ يَوْمٍ يَمُرُّ عَلَى اِبْنِ آدَمَ إِلاَّ قَالَ لَهُ ذَلِكَ اَلْيَوْمُ أَنَا يَوْمٌ جَدِيدٌ وَ أَنَا عَلَيْكَ شَهِيدٌ فَقُلْ فِيَّ خَيْراً وَ اِعْمَلْ فِيَّ خَيْراً أَشْهَدْ لَكَ بِهِ يَوْمَ اَلْقِيَامَةِ فَإِنَّكَ لَنْ تَرَانِي بَعْدَ هَذَا أَبَداً".
In the narration of Al-Sakuni, it is reported that Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib عليه السلام said: "There is no day that passes over the son of Adam except that the day says to him: 'I am a new day, and I am a witness over you. So speak good in me and act righteously in me, for I will testify for you on the Day of Judgment. You will never see me again after this.'"
