Among the Concise Words of the Messenger of Allah (Peace Be Upon Him)
وَ رَوَى عَبْدُ اَللَّهِ بْنُ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ رَسُولِ اَللَّهِ صَلَّى اَللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: "أَشْرَافُ أُمَّتِي حَمَلَةُ اَلْقُرْآنِ وَ أَصْحَابُ اَللَّيْلِ".
Abdullah ibn Abbas narrated from the Messenger of Allah سبحانه وتعالى, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم said: "The nobles of my nation are the bearers of the Qur'an and those who engage in prayer during the night."
