Chapter on a Man Who Kills His Son, His Father, or His Mother

Ali ibn Riʾab narrated from Abu Ubaydah who said: I asked Abu Jafar Imam Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Baqir عليه السلام about a man who killed his mother. Imam عليه السلام said: "He does not inherit from her, and he should be killed for it in a state of humiliation. Yet, I do not think that his killing would be an expiation for his sin."
