6. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn abu ‘Abd Allah from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Hammad from Hanan ibn Sadir from his father who has said the following: “Abu Ja’far عليه السلام, has said, ‘Giving charity repels seventy kinds of worldly misfortunes as well as disgraceful death. One who gives charity never dies a disgraceful death and will have his reward on the Day of Judgment.”
