Understanding Generosity and Munificence

10. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from Yasar al-Khadim who has said the following: “Abu al-Hassan al-Rida عليه السلام, has said, ‘A generous person eats people’s food so that they eat his food. A stingy person does not eat people’s food so that they will not eat his food.’”
