Al-Kāfi|Volume 4|Book 2|Chapter 1
14. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Mansur ibn al-‘Abbas from ‘Amr ibn Sa‘id from al-Hassan ibn Sadaqah who has said the following: “Abu al-Hassan عليه السلام, has said, ‘Rest in the form of a short nap between sunrise and noontime; Allah gives food and water to a fasting person during his sleep.”’
