8. Humayd ibn Yazid has narrated from al-Hassan ibn Muhammad ibn Sama‘ah from more than one person from Aban ibn ‘Uthman from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn abu ‘Abdillah who has said the following: “I once asked him (the Imam) عليه السلام, about a man who breaks his fast in the month of Ramadan intentionally. He (the Imam) said, ‘He is required to give twenty Sa‘ in charity and make Qada’ (compensatory fast) of that fast.’”
