3. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn al-Husayn from Ali ibn al-Hakam from fro al-‘Ala’ ibn Razin from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following: “Abu Ja’far عليه السلام, has said, ‘A person fasting can stay in water, pour water on one’s head or cool off with wet cloths, place wet comforting or a wet rug underneath, but must not immerse one’s head in water.’”
