3. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ‘Abd Allah ibn al-Mughirah from ‘Abd Allah ibn Sinan who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah عليه السلام, about the case of an old man who becomes weak because of fasting in the month of Ramadan. He (the Imam) said, ‘He pays a ransom of one meal to a destitute person for every day.’”
