People’s Obligation after Having Proof of the New Moon on the Day of ‘Id after Completion of Fasting
2. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn Ahmad in a marfu‘ manner who has said the following: “He (the Imam) عليه السلام, has said, ‘If people are fasting and have not seen the new moon, then a just people come and testify to their seeing the new moon they must discontinue fasting and on the morning of the next day come out for their ‘Id.’”
