Hunting in al-Haram (the sacred area) and The Expiation for the Same

Ali has narrated from his father from Hammad ibn ‘Isa form Hariz from Zurarah who has said the following: “Al-Hakam once asked abu Ja’far ‘Alayhi al-Salam, about a man who receives a pigeon as a gift in al- Haram (the sacred area) with its wings shortened. He (the Imam) said, ‘He takes it, looks after it and feeds it until its wings grow, then sets it free.’”
