The Excellence of Hajj and ‘Umrah, and the Reward Thereof

14. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn Ahmad from Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Zakariya al-Mu’min from Ibrahim ibn Salih from a man from our people who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah عليه السلام, has said that people who perform al-Hajj or al-‘Umrah are delegates before Allah. If they ask Him for help, He grants their wishes; if they pray, He answers their prayers; if they intercede on behalf of someone, their intercession is honored; if they remain silent, He initiates and He compensates them for every dirham a million dirham.”
