Chapter of al-Talbiyah (Here I am O Lord, to obey Your command)

5. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Hammad from Hariz in a marfu‘ manner who has said the following: “He (the Imam) has said, ‘When the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم assumed the state of Ihram, Jibril عليه السلام came to him. He said to him, “Instruct your followers to do al-‘Ajj and al-Thajj. Al-'Ajj means raising one's voice with Talbiyah, and al-Thajj means sacrificing a camel.” Jabir ibn ‘Abdillah has said that as soon as we arrived at al-Rawha, our voices became harsh.’”
