Faḍāʾil al-Ashhur al-Thalātha|Volume 1|Book 2|Chapter 1
Muḥammad b. al-Ḥasan narrated to me, saying that Aḥmad b. Idrīs narrated to him, from Muḥammad b. Aḥmad, from Mūsā b. Jaʿfar al-Baghdādī, from Muḥammad b. Jumhūr, from ʿAbd Allāh b. ʿAbd al-Raḥmān, from Muḥammad b. Abī Ḥamza, from Abī ʿAbd Allāh, Jaʿfar al-Ṣādiq عليه السلام, who stated: “Whoever says the following seventy times every day in Shaʿbān—I seek forgiveness from Allāh, He besides Whom there is no other god, and He is the Beneficent, the Merciful, the Eternally Living, the Sustainer of all Existences, and I repent to Him—it will be written for him in the manifest Ufuq.” Muḥammad b. Abī Ḥamza narrates: “I asked the Imam: “And what is the manifest Ufuq?” The Imam replied thus: “A plain before the Throne wherein rivers flow and there are as many cups (to drink from) as there are stars (in the sky).”
