Merits of the Month of Ramaḍān

Abū Muḥammad ʿAbd Allāh b. Ḥāmid [or Khālid] narrated to us this narration, saying that Ḥāmid b. Muḥammad al-Raqqā al-Harawī narrated to him among others, saying that al-Ḥusayn b. Ibn Idrīs [1] narrated to him among others, saying that ʿAlī b. Ḥijr narrated to him among others, saying that Yūsuf b. Ziyād narrated to him among others, from Hammām b. Yaḥyā, from ʿAlī b. Zayd, from Saʿīd b. al-Musayyib, from Salmān, who said: “The Messenger of Allāh صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم delivered to us a sermon at the end of Shaʿbān…,” and he mentioned the narration like it, in the same manner.
