A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad and Ya’qub ibn Yazid from the son of the sister of al-Walid ibn Sabih from his maternal uncle, al-Walid who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah عليه السلام, has said, ‘Of the people there are those who earn their living from the sword, others from trade and still others earn by their tongue.’”
