2. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn abu ‘Abd Allah from his father from those who narrated to him who has said the following: “Abu ’Abd Allah عليه السلام, has said, ‘You can give in marriage to a dimwitted man but do not marry a dimwitted woman; a dimwitted man can have children (healthy ones) but a dimwitted woman cannot.”’
