The Leek
Al-Kāfi|Volume 6|Book 5|Chapter 114
عَنْهُ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِهِ رَفَعَهُ قَالَ كَانَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ( عليه السلام ) يَأْكُلُ الْكُرَّاثَ بِالْمِلْحِ الْجَرِيشِ .
8. It is narrated from the narrator of the previous Hadith from certain persons of his people in a marfu‘ manner who has said the following: “’Amir al-Mu’minin عليه السلام, would eat leeks with not so finely powdered salt.’”
