Al-Kāfi|Volume 6|Book 5|Chapter 58
4. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Ali ibn Hassan from Musa ibn Bakr who has said the following: “I once heard abu al-Hassan عليه السلام, saying, ‘Meat grows meat, but if one sends a morsel of shahm (fat) inside it expels the same amount of illness out.’”
