The Milk Products

9. It is narrated from the narrator of the previous Hadith from Muhammad ibn Ali from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn abu Hashim from Muhammad ibn Ali ibn abu Hamzah from abu Basir who has said the following: “We ate with abu ‘Abd Allah عليه السلام. There was meat of camel (or sheep) and I thought it was from his house. We ate, and then bowls of milk were brought. He (the Imam) drank from it and said to me, ‘O abu Muhammad drink.’ I tasted it and asked, ‘I pray to Allah to keep my soul in service for your cause, is it milk?’ He (the Imam) said, ‘It is al- Fitrah (nature, seed).’ Then dates were brought and we ate.’”
