Al-Kāfi|Volume 6|Book 7|Chapter 41
10. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Muhammad ibn Sinan from Hammad ibn ‘Isa who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah عليه السلام, has said, ‘Applying eye powder grows hairs, dries up tears, sweetens saliva and sharpens eyesight.’”
