Taking Shower or Bath

32. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Hammad ibn ‘Isa from ‘Rib‘iy ibn ‘ Abd Allah from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following: “I once asked Abu Ja‘far عليه السلام, if ’Amir al-Mu’minin عليه السلام prohibited reading al-Quran in a bathhouse. He (the Imam) said, ’No, however, he prohibited reading while nude but if one has a loincloth on him, then it is not harmful.
