al-Ṣaffāt

أَمْ خَلَقْنَا الْمَلآَئِكَةَ إِنَاثاً وَهُمْ شَاهِدُونَ

أَلآ إِنَّهُم مّـِنْ إِفْكِهِمْ لَيَقُولُونَ

وَلَدَ اللَّهُ وَإِنَّهُمْ لَكَاذِبُونَ

150. “Or did We create the angels females while they were witnesses?”

151. “Beware! Verily it is of their own lie that they say.”

152. “Allah has begotten, and verily they are liars.”

Those who consider the angels as pregnant women will be called to account by Allah. In this verse, it refers to a sensible proof of the subject and, again by the way of appositive interrogative with a negative sense, the Qur’an asks whether Allah created the angels as girls and those people were as witnesses over it. No doubt their answer in this regard will be negative because none of them can claim that they were present at the creation of the angels.
