Surah al-Munafiqun – Verse 11
11. And Allah grants respite to none when his appointed time comes. And Allah is All-Aware of what you do.
The last blessed Verse most decisively adds that God Almighty grants respite to none when his appointed time of death comes, not even for one single moment. The same motif is reflected elsewhere in the Holy Qur’an11:
Finally, the blessed Verse closes with
reflecting that there are records available for Reward and Chastisement and everyone shall receive Divine Retribution before others. May God Almighty encompass us with His Graciousness and makes us the dwellers of Paradise. Amen.
