About the words of Allah ‘condemned are the unbeliever israelites…’ (5:78)

240. A number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Ibn Mahboub, from Ibn Ra’ab, from Abu Ubeyda Al-Haza’a, who has narrated the following: Abu Abdullah عليه الصلاة والسلام regarding the Statement of Allah عز وجل Mighty and Majestic: “[5:78] Those who disbelieved from among the children of Israel were cursed by the tongue of Dawood and Isa, son of Marium”. He عليه الصلاة والسلام said: ‘The pigs, by the tongue of Dawood عليه السلام, and the monkeys, by the tongue of Isa Bin Maryam عليه السلام’.
