Chapter on Miscellaneous Matters

Commentary #1

وَ ذَلِكَ لِبَنِي هَاشِمٍ وَ شِيعَتِهِمْ وَ فِي نِسَاءِ بَنِي أُمَيَّةَ وَ شِيعَتِهِمْ الشَّهْوَةُ عَشَرَةُ أَجْزَاءٍ فِي النِّسَاءِ تِسْعَةٌ وَ فِي الرِّجَالِ وَاحِدَةٌ.

This applies to the descendants of Banu Hashim and their followers. However, in the women of Banu Umayyah and their followers, desire is created in ten parts, nine parts in women and one part in men.
