Chapter on What is Permissible to Pray in, from Clothing and Place, and What is Not Permissible to Pray in, from That

The Shaykh (Al-Mufid), may Allah سبحانه وتعالى support him, said: "There is no harm if a person prays while wearing a sword in its sheath or a knife in its scabbard in his sleeve, or any other item of iron, if he needs to safeguard it in that way. And if he prays with an iron ring on his finger, it will not harm him, Allah سبحانه وتعالى willing."
