قال الشيخ رحمه الله ولا يجوز لاحد أن يصلي وعليه قباء مشدود إلا أن يكون في الحرب فلا يتمكن من أن يحله فيجوز ذلك للاضطرار ذكر ذلك علي بن الحسين بن بابويه وسمعناها من الشيوخ مذاكرة ولم أعرف به خبرا مسندا قال الشيخ رحمه الله ولا ينبغي للرجل إذا كان له شعر أن يصلي وهو معقوص حتى يحله وقد رخص ذلك للنساء
The Shaykh (Al-Mufid), may Allah سبحانه وتعالى support him, said: "It is not permissible for anyone to pray while wearing a tightly fastened cloak (qaba’) unless he is in a state of war and unable to loosen it, then it is permitted due to necessity." This was mentioned by Ali ibn Al-Husayn ibn Babawayh, and we heard it from the scholars in discussion, though I have not come across any supported narration on it. The Shaykh, may Allah سبحانه وتعالى have mercy on him also said: "It is not appropriate for a man who has hair to pray while it is tied up; rather, he should untie it before praying. However, this has been permitted for women."
