ألا ترى ان أمير المؤمنين عليه السلام مع كونه في الصلاة انصت لقرائة القرآن ثم عاد إلى قراءته لنفسه وأتم الصلاة بها فكذلك ما تضمنه الخبر المتقدم ويحتمل ايضا أن يكون المراد به حال التقية لانه متى كان الامر على ما ذكرناه جاز له أن ينصت ويقرأ فيما بينه وبين نفسه والذي يكشف عما ذكرناه ما رواه
Do you not see that the Commander of the Faithful عليه السلام, peace be upon him, despite being in prayer, remained silent in reverence when the Qur’an was recited, then returned to his own recitation and completed the prayer with it? Likewise is what was contained in the preceding report. It is also possible that what is meant in the narration is a situation of taqiyyah (precautionary dissimulation), for when the matter is as we have explained, it is permissible for him to remain silent outwardly while reciting quietly to himself. And what further clarifies what we have mentioned is what was narrated:
