On Various Traditions From Imam Ali Ibn Musa al-Ridha صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم

28-15 (The author of the book narrated) my father - may God be pleased with him - narrated that Ahmad ibn Idris quoted on the authority of Muhammad ibn Ahmad ibn Yahya ibn Imran al-Ash’ari, on the authority of Ibrahim ibn Hamawayh, on the authority of Muhammad ibn Isa al-Yaqteeni that Al-Ridha صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم said, “A white cock has five of the traits of the Prophets صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم: to know the times to pray, zeal, generosity, courage and making love often.”
