On Various Traditions From Imam Ali Ibn Musa al-Ridha صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم

28-79 Muhammad ibn Ali Majiluwayh - may God be pleased with him -narrated that Ali ibn Ibrahim ibn Hashem quoted on the authority of his father, on the authority of Dawood ibn Soleiman, on the authority of Ali ibn Musa Al-Ridha صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم, on the authority of his father Musa ibn Ja’far صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم, on the authority of his father As-Sadiq Ja’far ibn Muhammad صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم, “The Honorable the Exalted God revealed to David صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم: There may be that one of My servants does one good deed for which I shall take him into Paradise.” David صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم said, “O Lord! What is that good deed?” God said, “It is causing relief from sorrow for a believer even if it be by using one date.” David صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم said, “Truly, whoever recognizes You must never lose hope of You.”
