30-10 According to the same documentation, on the authority of Al-Ridha صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم, on the authority of his father Musa ibn Ja’far صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم it is narrated that As-Sadiq صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم saw a man who was wailing over the death of his child. The Imam صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم said, “O the one who is crying over the minor calamity and is neglecting the major calamity! Had you prepared yourself for the loss of your child, it would not have been so difficult for you. Thus not being prepared is a calamity that is greater than the loss of your child.”
