On Imam Al-kazim’s صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم Clear Appointment of Imam al-Ridha صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم

4-27 In another tradition it is narrated that Muhammad ibn Al-Hassan ibn Ahmad ibn al-Waleed - may God be pleased with him - narrated that Muhammad ibn Al-Hassan al-Saffar quoted on the authority of Al-Hassan ibn Musa al-Khashshab, on the authority of Nasr ibn Qaboos that Abul Hassan (Imam al-Kadhim) صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم told him, “My son Ali (Al-Ridha صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم) is my oldest son. He is the most obedient of them to me. He studies the books of AL-JAFR and AL-JAME’A along with me. No one can look at these two books except for the Prophet and his Testamentary Trustees.”
