6-31 Ahmad ibn Al-Hassan al-Qattan narrated that Ahmad ibn Yahya bin Zakariya al-Qattan quoted on the authority of Bakr ibn Abdullah ibn Habib, on the authority of Al-Fadhl ibn al-Saqr al-Abdi, on the authority of Abu Mo’awiya, on the authority of al-A’amesh, on the authority of Abaya ibn Reb’ee, on the authority of Abdullah ibn Abbas that God’s Prophet صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم said, “I am the Master of the Prophets, and Ali ibn Abi Talib صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم is the Master of the Trustees. The Trustees after me are twelve, the first of whom is Ali ibn Abi Talib صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم and their last one is the Riser.”
