6-33 Muhammad ibn Ibrahim ibn Ishaq al-Taliqani رضي الله عنه narrated that Muhammad ibn Hamam Abu Ali quoted on the authority of Abdullah ibn Ja’far al-Himyari, quoted on the authority of Al-Hassan ibn Musa al-Khashshab, on the authority of Abil Muthanna an-Nakha’ee, on the authority of Zayd ibn Ali ibn Al-Hussein, on the authority of his father Ali ibn Al-Hussein عليه السلام, on the authority of his father عليه السلام that God’s Prophet صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم said, “How can a nation that begins with me, Ali and eleven of my progeny who are all men of understanding and ends with the Messiah - the son of Mary - perish? However anyone who does not belong to my nation, and I am not associated with, will perish.”
