Gratitude and Thankfulness

11. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Ali ibn ‘Uyayna from ‘Umar ibn Yazid who has said the following: “I heard Abu ‘Abdillah عليه السلام saying, ‘Expressing one’s thankfulness for any favor, no matter how great it may be, is to thank Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Holy, for it.’”
