Al-Kāfi|Volume 2|Book 1|Chapter 48
8. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Yahya ibn al- Mubarak from ‘Abd Allah ibn Jabalah from Mu’awiyah ibn Wahab from Abu ‘Abdillah عليه السلام who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah عليه السلام has said, ‘Whoever is granted the ability to be thankful is also granted increase in bounties. Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Holy, has said, “. . . if you give thanks, I shall give you greater (favors). .. .’””(14:7)
