Silence and Restraint against Publicity

14. It is narrated from him (narrator of the Hadith above) from ‘Uthman ibn ‘Isa from abu al-Hassan عليه السلام who has said the following: “When there is something in one of your hands, if you can, do not allow the other hand to know about it.’ The narrator has said that there was a man in his presence and they discussed publicity. The Imam said, ‘Control your tongue and you will find honor and do not allow people to become in control of your neck to humiliate you.’”
