3. My father and Muḥammad ibn Ḥasan both narrated to me from Ḥusain ibn Ḥasan ibn Abān, from Ḥusain ibn Sa’īd, from Qāsim ibn Muḥammad, from Isḥāq ibn Ibrāhīm, from Hārūn ibn Khārijah, who said: I was with Abī ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq عليه السلام) when a man asked him, “What is the reward for those who go to the Ziyārah of the grave of Ḥusain عليه السلام?” Imam عليه السلام replied, “Verily Allāh has dedicated four thousand angels to Ḥusain عليه السلام who are disheveled, covered with dust, and who cry for him (and will continue to do so) until the Day of Judgment.” I (Hārūn ibn Khārijah) asked, “May I sacrifice my father and mother for you! It is narrated from your father عليه السلام that (going to the Ziyārah of Ḥusain عليه السلام) is equal to performing Hajj and ‘Umrah?!” Imam عليه السلام replied, “Yes. A Hajj and an ‘Umrah, a Hajj and an Umrah…” Hārūn added that the Imam عليه السلام counted ten Hajj and ten ‘Umrah.
