The Reward for the Ziyārah of Ĥusain عليه السلام Is Equal to the Reward for Performing a Hajj and an ‘Umrah

4. My father and ‘Ali ibn Ḥusain both narrated to me from Sa’d ibn ‘Abdillāh, from Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad, from Ḥasan ibn ‘Ali Al-Washā, from Aḥmad ibn ‘Ā`idh, from Abī Khadījah, who said: A man asked Abā Ja’far (Imam Bāqir عليه السلام) about going to the Ziyārah of the grave of Ḥusain عليه السلام. Imam عليه السلام replied, “It is equal to one Hajj and one ‘Umrah and this much – he stretched open his arms – rewards.”
