Those Who Neglect the Ziyārah of Ĥusain عليه السلام

6. Muḥammad ibn Ja’far Al-Razzāz Al-Kūfi Al-Qurashi narrated to me from his uncle Muḥammad ibn Ḥusain ibn Abil Khaťťāb, from someone who narrated to him, from ‘Ali ibn Maymūn, who said: I heard Abā ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq عليه السلام) say: Verily if one of you goes for Hajj one thousand times but does not go to (the Ziyārah of) the grave of Ḥusain ibn ‘Ali عليه السلام, he has neglected one of his obligations toward Allāh, the Exalted. Then someone asked the Imam عليه السلام for the reason and he replied, “Fulfilling one’s obligation toward Ḥusain عليه السلام is mandatory on every Muslim.”
