15. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Hammad ibn ‘Isa from al-Husayn ibn al-Mukhtar from abu Usamah Zayd al-Shahham who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah عليه السلام, about the words of Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious, ‘You must not go near Salah (prayer) while you are drunk.’ (4:46) He (the Imam) said, ‘It is a reference to sleep.’”
