One of his supplications
Nahj al-Balāgha|Volume 1|Book 1|Chapter 78
اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي رَمَزَاتِ الاْلْحَاظِ وَسَقَطَاتِ الاْلْفَاظِ وَشَهَوَاتِ الْجَنَانِ ، وَهَفَوَاتِ اللِّسَانِ.
My Allah forgive me winking of the eye, vile utterances, desires of the heart and errors of speech.
